Women in Hard News and Sports Media Panel | AWSM, Her Campus & Mirage Magazine

Last semester, the WVU Student Media Coalition partnered with Mirage Magazine, Association for Women in Sports Media and Her Campus at WVU to host a panel discussing what the news and sports media industry look for women.

Whitney Godwin, recruitment specialist at the WVU Reed College of Media moderated the event. Panelists included:

1. Brittany Patterson, energy and environment reporter at West Virginia Public Broadcasting

2. Hannah Goetz, reporter and multimedia journalist at WOWK-TV

3. Carly Nevis, sports anchor reporter at WDTV discuss
